About the Position

We are seeking an HR Manager to drive foundational HR initiatives with a heavy focus on human resource operations, recruiting, and headcount forecasting. You will be an “internal customer-focused” partner, providing tangible procedural support and building trust across functional leaders.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Talent Acquisition & Organizational Design

• Mission-Driven Sourcing: Move beyond standard recruiting to build a talent pipeline that aligns with SATL’s mission of democratizing Earth Observation data. Focus on specialized “New Space” engineering, data science, and high-tech manufacturing.

• Role Scoping & Strategic Mapping: Partner with hiring managers to define not just the needs of today, but the competencies required for the next 24 months of satellite constellation expansion.

• Technical Onboarding 2.0: Design a high-touch onboarding experience that accelerates “time-to-contribution” for complex technical roles, ensuring new hires understand the vertical integration from satellite design to data delivery.

2. Operational Excellence & Scalability

• Transition to “Run” State: Architect the foundational “Run the Department” manual. This involves documenting and automating hiring, onboarding, and compensation cycles so the team can focus on strategic growth rather than firefighting.

• Process Rigor vs. Business Velocity: Establish the “Satellogic Standard” - a set of clear, non-negotiable boundaries for HR processes (hiring approvals, salary bands, RSU allocations) while maintaining a “fast-track” protocol for critical, high-impact needs.

• Internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Define and maintain clear internal expectations for cross-functional support, ensuring the People team is viewed as a high-velocity partner to the production and engineering teams.

3. High-Performance Culture & Growth Incentives

• Global Performance Frameworks: Develop a unified performance management system that accounts for the diverse nature of the workforce - from manufacturing plant floors in Uruguay to backoffice and innovation hubs.

• Leadership Coaching: Provide managers with the “playbook” and data tools they need to hold their teams accountable, fostering a culture of “high challenge, high support”.

4. Data-Driven Strategic Planning & Total Rewards

• Cross-Border Collaboration: Manage the logistics and cultural integration of a multi-national team, ensuring that “how we work” remains consistent whether an employee is remote of in a physical plant.

6.) Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management

• Jurisdictional Record Keeping: Maintain and manage a centralized HRIS to act as the “single source of truth” for audit-ready record keeping across all countries of operation.

• Strategic Compliance: Stay ahead of evolving global labor laws and Best Practices (e.g. pay transparency, data privacy/GDPR, and manufacturing safety regulations) to protect the company during rapid scaling.

• Risk Mitigation: Ensure that the “at-will”nature of employment in certain regions and the specific labor protections in others are managed with precision to minimize legal exposure.

About You

• HRIS Mastery: Strong understanding of BambooHR or other HRIS, including terminology, functionality, and the best practices for global data management.

• Operational Architecture: Specific experience building a maturing foundational HR processes (hiring workflows, onboarding playbooks, and compensation cycles) to move a department into a “run” state.

• Manufacturing Context: Experience in a high-tech manufacturing or aerospace environment, understanding the unique people-needs of both “shop floor” and “top floor” teams.

• Stakeholder Partnership: Proven track record of managing internal “customers” (hiring managers/leadership) by setting clear boundaries and providing data-decision support.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of HR Management experience, with a heavy emphasis on scaling international teams in the U.S., Latin America, or the EU.

• Operational Mindset: A “Process First” mentality with the ability to architect straightforward, repeatable workflows that reduce administrative friction.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Language: Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) given the satellite plant operations in Uruguay and Argentina.

About the Position

SkyTruth seeks a Director of Operations & Finance to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director will play a key role across financial management and grant reporting, internal operations, people operations, and board support. As SkyTruth’s current Director of Operations & Finance steps into the COO role, this position offers the opportunity to partner with a leader who knows the work deeply and values it highly. Working closely with the COO, the Director will help steward the budget, policies, and practices that most clearly express SkyTruth’s values in action, while strengthening the systems, culture, and operational discipline that support our mission and growth. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, solutions-oriented leader with strong nonprofit finance and HR experience and a clear understanding of how effective operations can advance organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial management and reporting. Oversee account receivables, account payables, and grant coding and allocations; manage external accountants and audit process; develop financial reports for the board, and for grant reports and proposals; and support budgeting and cash management processes. Ensure timely and accurate completion of the audit and 990.

• Internal process improvement. Identify and execute on opportunities, tools, and processes to enhance organizational operations and internal communications; partner with System Administrator on maintenance of project management and CRM software, file structure, Slack, and other tools; work across teams to ensure consistent processes and that tools are effectively utilized across the organization; and monitor compliance with policies and procedures.

• Board and committee management. Support COO with board meeting and board committee meeting preparations and board management, including memo and packet development, financial reporting, and minutes.

• People operations, including payroll. Manage relevant external vendors & programs (e.g., PEO, employee engagement software, performance review software) and support the planning and execution of culture-building team engagement activities including virtual social hours and in-person retreats. Support ongoing performance management for the organization.

• Hiring and onboarding. Facilitate hiring and onboarding processes, manage ATS, and as needed, oversee vendors (e.g., recruiter).

• Directly supervise the Operations Manager, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment across operational functions.

• Act as a thought partner to the COO while executing on various tactical day-to-day administrative and operational duties.

Key Attributes and Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time salaried position with an expected salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 with final compensation depending on skills and experience. SkyTruth is a fully remote organization working across multiple time zones, so working hours may vary according to geography as well as operational and personal needs. • Perform robust statistical analyses of experimental and observational forest data.

• Evaluate and enhance current experimental design by performing power analyses and applying statistical models to multi-year trials.

• Rapidly prototype and deploy models connecting forest productivity to soil microbiomes and environmental factors, accounting for spatial and temporal dependencies.

• Enhance our carbon accounting system to incorporate incoming field-collected, genomic, and remotely sensed data.

• Build and validate pipelines for assessing the effectiveness of satellite and drone datasets for capturing on-the-ground measurements.

• High proficiency in SQL, R, and Python for data manipulation and modeling.

• Practical experience applying machine learning techniques to biological, environmental, or similarly complex systems.

About the Role:

Funga is seeking a Contract and Compliance Specialist to support the review, execution, organization, and lifecycle management of contracts across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring contracts are processed accurately, tracked consistently, and communicated effectively to internal stakeholders. You will also own compliance with contract, state, and federal requirements that guide our work.

You’ll work closely with Business Operations, Legal, Finance, Land Enrollment, and external counsel to support smooth contracting workflows while maintaining strong documentation and compliance standards. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable managing multiple contracts in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

In This Role, You Will Lead:

Contracts Administration & Lifecycle Management

• Coordinate the end-to-end contract process, including intake, review routing, execution, storage, and renewal tracking

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all contracts using contract management systems and shared documentation tools

• Track key contract terms such as effective dates, expiration dates, renewal notices, payment obligations, and compliance requirements

• Ensure executed contracts are properly archived and accessible to relevant internal teams

Contract Review & Coordination

• Perform first-line administrative and structural review of contracts prior to legal review, flagging missing information, inconsistencies, or non-standard terms

Compliance & Cross-Functional Enablement

• Ensure contract requirements are clearly communicated to functional teams responsible for implementation and compliance

• Support audit readiness by maintaining organized, complete, and searchable contract documentation

• Support fundraising and deal readiness by maintaining an organized, robust data room and coordinating responses to external diligence requests

About the Role:

Funga is hiring a Land Program Agreement Specialist to manage the operational and communications “bridge” between our land enrollment efforts and executed partnerships. While our Enrollment Specialists focus on the initial handshake, you will be responsible for the critical phase that follows: guiding landowners through the complexities of our Carbon, Field Trial, and Soil Sampling agreements.

This role requires a unique blend of administrative rigor and high-touch communication. In This Role, You Will:

• Drive Contract Execution: Actively manage the “back-and-forth” communication with landowners to move agreements from draft to fully-executed status.

About the Position

SkyTruth is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our growing conservation technology program. Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time salaried position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer with an expected salary range of $185,000–$200,000 with final compensation depending on skills and experience. About the Position

SkyTruth seeks an experienced Data Visualization & Design Specialist to support the Creative Director in the generation of insights and visual assets that tell compelling conservation stories with SkyTruth’s products, and analyze geospatial data to produce polished maps, graphics and reports using SkyTruth’s datasets and tools. This role combines geospatial data analysis and visualization, graphic design, and journalism.

Making hidden environmental problems visible is the first step to solving them. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis and visualization, geospatial mapping, as well as science communication and graphic design. They will be able to produce results quickly, balance competing priorities, and collaborate closely with the Creative Director and SkyTruth’s technical and communications teams to unlock the full value and impact of our products. Above all, they will be motivated to translate data into impact for the conservation community. This role is 100% remote and will report to the Creative Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Data visualization and mapping. Develop polished maps and graphics for reports, web, slide decks, and social media.

• Data analysis and communication. Utilize SkyTruth’s products and analyze datasets to produce graphics and create narratives that promote and inspire global conservation.

• Ensuring brand consistency. Manage some website content production, develop templates, and ensure consistency with brand guidelines.

Key Qualifications
